Math- Zeek is working on carrying and borrowing 3 digit numbers, fractions
Shasha is working on fractions and add/subtracting
Science- Uranus and Neptune
History-Kansas(mid-west)
Art- fall crafts and art
Preschool/Kindergarten: working on the letter Cc
We also Had Muffin Tin Monday!
Muffin Tin Monday is basically a group of Moms on the net(connected thru blogging) that serve kids meals in a muffin tin on Mondays.
It is sometimes themed and sometimes not.
This week we did "ABC" muffin Tin Monday:
Applesauce
Broccoli
Bagel
Mac and Cheese
Crackers
The kids LOVED it!!!!
And THAT is just SO FAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW-Muffin Tin Monday--I LOVE it.
You might want to try an idea I thought up while I was still in the classroom. Since most of what we read in Middle School, High School, and our jobs is non-fiction--I came up with Non-Fiction Friday. Every Friday my students had to read a non-fiction book for facts. They really loved it and began to read lots of them.
